Unfortunately, the plot development is just a pretext, and the sex sequences are rather repetitive and sloppy (on a couple of occasions the director even resorts to inserts). The only circumstances that reveal the "Cavallone touch" are a few sadistic moments (the torture inflicted to Dominique Saint Claire and the killing of the traitor), as well as the overall cynicism displayed by various characters.
